What is Worked Maths? Is it really free? Do I need an account?
Worked Maths provides free maths practice worksheets for Australian school students, parents and teachers. It is completely free to use, with no paywall, no ads, and no account or sign-up required. You can generate worksheets, practise online, or print them straight away.
Which year should I choose?
Worked Maths covers Years 2–10. Choose the school year your child is currently in, or select an earlier year if they need to build confidence and reinforce core skills before moving on to harder topics.
How does it match the Australian Curriculum? What is a code like AC9M5N01?
Questions are organised around Australian Curriculum Version 9.0 content descriptions. A code like AC9M5N01 is an official curriculum code (in this example, Year 5 Number: interpreting, comparing and ordering numbers with more than two decimal places, and representing them on a number line). How do I print a worksheet? What does "Print Worksheet & Key" do?
On any worksheet page, select "Print Worksheet & Key". This prepares a printer-friendly layout containing the practice questions followed by an answer key with worked methods and common mistakes, formatted for standard A4 paper.
What is the QR code on the printed sheet?
Every printed worksheet includes a QR code that links directly back to that specific worksheet online. Scanning the code with a phone or tablet lets your child check their answers interactively, read detailed worked methods, and practise missed questions.
Where are the answers and worked methods?
Every question comes with a step-by-step worked method, and most include a common-mistake explanation. When practising online, select "View Solution" on a question to see its answer and worked method. When printing, the answer key and worked methods are included at the back of the worksheet.
My child got some wrong. What next?
After you select "Check All Answers" online, a "Practise what you missed" list appears. It names each skill your child got wrong, with a "Practise this skill" link to fresh questions on that skill. The printed answer key ends with the same list as web addresses.
Does the site collect my child's data?
We do not require accounts or logins. Practice history, worksheet answers and scores are saved only in your web browser's local storage on your device, and we do not transmit your practice history or stored reports to a server. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to host and protect the site. We use cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics for general traffic statistics.
